Recognized information systems audit and control authority to lead 480-member chapter of ISACA.
Washington, D.C. – May 29, 2012
MorganFranklin Corporation, a business and technology consulting firm that delivers financial management, performance improvement, and national security solutions to government and industry clients, today announced that Senior Manager Timothy M. Grace has been elected president of the ISACA St. Louis Chapter. ISACA—formerly the Information Systems Audit and Control Association—is the single international source for information technology (IT) controls. As president, Grace will lead the 480-member St. Louis Chapter, and will be responsible for supporting efforts centered on information systems auditing, assurance, security, and governance.
“I am honored and humbled to be given the opportunity to lead the storied St. Louis ISACA Chapter, and I extend my thanks to all who voted for and supported me throughout the years,” Grace said. “I look forward to continuing the legacy of our past presidents by striving to improve upon an exceptional chapter while serving our membership and the St. Louis information technology community.”
Grace previously served as executive vice president of the ISACA St. Louis Chapter for two years, and has been a member since 1997. He will succeed current president Dave Allen when he assumes office later this month.
Grace is an internal audit, information security, and compliance executive with more than 25 years of experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and enforcing controls in the financial services, banking, manufacturing, health care, and government industries. As a former Technology Officer/Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and leader in the fields of IT, internal audit, financial management, and corporate accounting, he has brought best practices to global organizations and helped drive solutions that strengthen and enhance existing practices.
Since joining MorganFranklin in 2010, Grace has been responsible for developing the company’s Financial Management and Performance Improvement practice in the St. Louis region while leading Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular No. A-123 engagements at a high-profile U.S. government agency. He is Certified in Risk Information Systems Control (CRISC), and is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Six Sigma Green Belt, and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
“MorganFranklin is excited to serve ISACA and proud of this tremendous honor. We look forward with great anticipation to witnessing the next chapter in Tim’s career,” said Bill Hughes, managing director of MorganFranklin’s public sector Financial Management and Performance Improvement practice. “Through his unwavering commitment to clients, he has demonstrated a unique ability to build synergy between compliance, technology, and business processes within world-class organizations. Tim is a proven leader, and we are confident in his ability to lead ISACA forward in information systems auditing, assurance, security, and governance.”
