Fit-Friendly certification. The designation marks the third consecutive year that MorganFranklin has been recognized by Start!, which benefits employers by helping to create a culture of physical activity and wellness within organizations to help employees live longer, heart-healthy lives.

This year, the AHA recognized 72 Start! Fit-Friendly companies in the greater Washington, D.C., area for promoting physical activity and health in the workplace. According to the AHA, worksite wellness programs are proven to prevent the major modifiable risk factors for cardiovascular disease, including smoking, obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes.
