D.C.-based consulting firm recognized for extraordinary Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and sponsorship work with various charitable and community organizations.

Consulting magazine has named MorganFranklin Consulting a winner of the publication’s inaugural Excellence in Social & Community Investment Achievement Awards, which honor and formally recognize the investments consulting firms make in social and community causes. MorganFranklin, a leading business consulting and technology solutions company based in McLean, Va., is being honored for its extraordinary Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program and sponsorship work with various charitable and community organizations.

The awards are being presented to 15 firms for partnering with nonprofits, government entities, associations, and private and public sector companies through pro bono work, significantly discounted work, community outreach initiatives, employee-motivated volunteer projects, and other social and community investment and engagement.

Since its founding in 1998, the firm has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars and hundreds of employee volunteer hours to organizations including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, The Global Good Fund, American Heart Association, March of Dimes, Wounded Warrior Project, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Greater DC Cares, Knock Out Abuse Against Women, and The Women’s Center.

MorganFranklin’s CSR endeavors also include employee volunteer, matching gift, leadership gift, and community investment programs, such as partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps to build and donate bicycles to Toys for Tots and participating in Junior Achievement’s “JA in a Day” program by teaching elementary school students about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. In addition, MorganFranklin’s Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility, Jeana Foster, was named the 2013 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society National Capital Chapter “Woman of the Year,” leading 19 contenders who collectively raised $1.145 million through 10 weeks of fundraising.
