2016 marks MorganFranklin’s ninth consecutive appearance on Alliance for Workplace Excellence list and second consecutive win for employee health and wellness award in annual program celebrating workplace excellence and employee engagement.

For the ninth consecutive year, MorganFranklin Consulting has been awarded the Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval by the Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE), and the firm has also been named a winner of the Health & Wellness Seal of Approval for the second year in a row. AWE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering employers to build excellence in the workplace as a means of supporting the quality of life for employees, their families, and the community at large. MorganFranklin, a leading business consulting and technology solutions company based in McLean, Va., has been a winner of the annual Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval since 2008.

All award recipients undergo a rigorous assessment process led by an independent review panel of business professional and master’s and Ph.D. level students in the fields of business, industrial and organizational psychology, human resources, environmental science, public health, and diversity and inclusion.

MorganFranklin is among 53 companies awarded the 2016 Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval for demonstrating outstanding commitment to balanced leadership and the overall success of the workforce. The winners underwent a comprehensive evaluation process that assessed the following areas:

MorganFranklin was also among 37 companies awarded the 2016 Health & Wellness Seal of Approval for developing innovative programs for employee health and wellness, including health risk assessments, employee health fairs, support for physical activity and programs for healthy eating, on-site fitness facilities, healthy options at food facilities, educational sessions on healthy lifestyles, incentives for wellness program participation, and employee access to nurses, coaches, and other professionals.

2016 marks the AWE’s 17th year recognizing excellence in the workplace through the Workplace Excellence, Health & Wellness, EcoLeadership, and Diversity & Inclusion Awards. The winners will be honored at the AWE’s Annual Awards Luncheon and panel discussion on Friday, June 10, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the Bethesda Marriott. More than 250 business executives from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., will be in attendance to learn about signature practices in “Workplace Excellence and Employee Engagement.” Dr. Linda Henman, author and President of Henman Performance Group, will deliver the keynote address, and award-winning journalist Doreen Gentzler from NBC4 will serve as emcee.
