D.C.-based business consulting firm and professional advisor announces newest Directors Ian Cooper and Gregory McCraw and a new regional office in Atlanta.

With the appointment of two new directors, MorganFranklin Consulting, a D.C.-based, strategy and execution-focused business consulting firm and professional advisor, today announced plans for further strategic expansion in the southeast regional market. Ian Cooper, based in Atlanta, Ga., will serve as the Atlanta Market Lead and a Director with the firm’s Strategy, Finance & Operations practice. Gregory McCraw, based in Raleigh, N.C., will serve as a Director with the firm’s Risk & Compliance practice. MorganFranklin’s new space at 999 Peachtree Street, NE, Suite 1925 in Atlanta will house the firm’s southeast regional office.

MorganFranklin professionals are currently based on-site in Atlanta, Raleigh, and other cities throughout the region serving a number of the firm’s major clients. Their work includes supporting a global company with the transformation and restructuring of its business to realize new levels of value and customer insight. MorganFranklin is assisting this client with finance/accounting improvement and transformation, reporting and controls improvement, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) risk management, and information technology improvement.

With more than 20 years of experience, Cooper has developed strong partnering and advisory relationships in the private and public sectors and has a proven track record of working with major national and global brands. In his new role with MorganFranklin, Cooper will help Atlanta-based companies drive value from improved integration of finance, accounting, operations, and technology. He has resided in Atlanta for the past decade and currently lives in Brookhaven with his wife and family. Prior to MorganFranklin Consulting, Cooper served in leadership roles at North Highland, Deloitte, and Ernst & Young.
Over the course of his career, McCraw has produced for his clients more than $50 million in revenue and more than $55 million in cost savings through compliance solution building and strong project leadership. He brings to MorganFranklin a broad grasp of regulatory compliance challenges and more than 10 years of experience in accounting best practices gained from exposure to highly regulated industries, such as financial services, banking, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. Throughout his consulting career, McCraw has worked with clients such as BB&T, GlaxoSmithKline, FDIC, HealthSouth, and Fannie Mae.
