MorganFranklin Corporation, a business and technology consulting firm that delivers financial management, performance improvement, and national security solutions to industry and government clients, today announced the recent appointment of Scott Rottmann as Managing Director. In his new role, Rottmann will focus on expanding MorganFranklin’s Performance Improvement practice, drawing upon more than 15 years of finance and technology experience working with some of the world’s most valuable brands.

As managing director, Rottmann will leverage his expertise in global finance transformation to help clients drive value through the finance function. Through process and technology improvement, he will help companies streamline access to critical financial information needed to improve decision making.

Throughout his career, Rottmann has helped CXOs, boards of directors, and audit committees optimize their organizations, and he has led programs and projects around the globe working with teams of all sizes. He specializes in finance transformation and its impact on companies’ people, processes, and technology. His experience ranges from finance process redesign to standing up global shared service centers and implementing SAP and Oracle solutions.

Prior to joining MorganFranklin, Rottmann served as a principal at Deloitte Consulting LLP in Atlanta, Ga., where he was the Southeast region Finance service line leader. Rottmann helped grow the Southeast region and was responsible for professional development, national and regional deployment activities, and the development and execution of recruiting and retention strategies. Most recently, he helped one of the world’s leading companies streamline its global finance operations through process and technology efficiency. In this role, he led a global finance transformation that operated in more than 200 locations worldwide while concurrently helping to integrate the acquisition of a multibillion-dollar company. Previously, Rottmann served as a manager at Answerthink, Inc., and he began his career as an audit senior at Price Waterhouse LLP.

Rottmann earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Ohio University, as well as a Master of Science degree in accounting from George Mason University. He frequently speaks on the topics of CFO challenges, finance transformation, management reporting, and analytics. Rottmann serves on the board of directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s (JDRF) Georgia Chapter and is active with the National Capitol Chapter.
