International Academy of the Visual Arts presents MorganFranklin corporate website www.morganfranklin.com with Silver Award at 7th Annual W³ Awards in recognition of creative excellence on the Web.

Washington, D.C. – October 11, 2012
MorganFranklin Corporation, a business and technology consulting firm that delivers financial management, performance improvement, and national security solutions to industry and government clients, today announced that it was named a winner of the seventh annual W³ Awards presented by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA). MorganFranklin received the 2012 Silver Award in recognition of its 2011 corporate website redesign at www.morganfranklin.com. The W³ Awards honor outstanding websites, Web marketing, Web video, and mobile applications created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers, and creators worldwide.

“MorganFranklin is honored to be presented with the prestigious W³ Award, and this recognition validates our objective of redesigning www.morganfranklin.com to showcase our continued growth as a trusted leader of insights, solutions, and career opportunities,” said Erik Ayers, vice president of marketing and business development at MorganFranklin. “The website redesign was just one element of our ‘MorganFranklin 2.0’ mission, which has stressed the importance of more clearly defining the scope and scale of our business, the diversity of services provided, and the range of clients served. As the company experienced impressive growth in recent years, it became necessary to refresh this message to establish MorganFranklin as a maturing organization with a strong reputation and credible brand.”

In response to a brand assessment conducted in early 2011, site architecture and design changes were made to www.morganfranklin.com to put the company’s financial management, performance improvement, and national security solutions and supporting thought leadership activities at the forefront of the audience experience. The website aims to better engage clients and prospects, and the main navigation provides an immediate overview of MorganFranklin solutions as well as one-click access to service descriptions, market narratives, and current government contracts.

The site architecture caters to a time-limited audience eager to consume content on a demanding schedule. The home page and Insights section feature a cross section of content from within the site that appeals to MorganFranklin’s diverse audience from a wide range of industries.

In its seventh year, the W³ Awards received more than 3,000 entries from advertising agencies, public relations firms, interactive agencies, in-house creative professionals, Web designers, graphic designers, and Web enthusiasts. Highlighting the diversity of entries and winners in this year’s competition, the 2012 W³ Award winners represent an impressive group of agencies and companies of all sizes. MorganFranklin was honored alongside fellow Silver Award winners including CACI, CBS Radio, Cisco Systems Inc., Cvent, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, George Washington University, and the U.S. Army.

“We are honored to once again recognize creative excellence on the Web, and are humbled to witness all the amazing work being done throughout the industry,” said Linda Day, executive director of the IAVA. “From everyone at the academy, we congratulate our 2012 W³ Award entrants and winners for their contributions and commitment to the online world in which we live.”

The W³ Awards honor creative excellence on the Web and recognize the creative and marketing professionals behind award-winning websites, Web video, and online marketing programs. It is the first major Web competition to be accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between. The W³ Awards is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms. The award-winning www.morganfranklin.com was also a recipient of the 2012 American Web Design Awards presented by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA). The online design competition celebrates the power of well-designed website and online communications to attract audiences, disseminate ideas and information, generate response, and promote products, services, and ideas.
