Plantensive Leaders Bill Ackner & Rhonda Stinson Named 2022 Pros to Know

WASHINGTON, D.C. — March 31, 2022 Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, named Plantensive’s Bill Ackner, and Rhonda Stinson as two winners of its 2022 Pros to Know award. Plantensive is MorganFranklin Consulting’s supply chain and retail planning practice.

This award recognizes outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders seeking ways to leverage supply chain for competitive advantage. Plantensive has had 10 leaders receive the prestigious award since 2015.

“When I look back at past Pros to Know winners, I see a lot of individuals who accomplished a lot of great achievements. But this year’s winners are reinventing what it means to be a supply chain professional. This year’s winners are intuitive, adaptive and so super smart, and continue to push the envelope when it comes to everything supply chain-related,” said Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics. “We received over 360 nominations this year, the highest number of nominations ever for this award. It is proof that today’s supply chain professionals are not only doing great things for the supply chain, but are also being supported by their teams, peers and partners.”

Ackner, a principal of Plantensive, has taken a progressive role in bridging the retail and supply chain practices, creating a true end-to-end vision for manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers alike. He has been active in developing and providing a blueprint to internal teams on engaging clients in conversation about rethinking traditional approaches to implementing new technology. Ackner has taken a more prescriptive and holistic approach to overall client operations and the long-existing interdependencies that are critical to a company’s success. He has worked with several clients to reimagine their supply chain processes and create new procedures that allow them to adapt quickly to an ever-changing and unpredictable environment.

Stinson, a functional solution architect, has spent more than two decades working her way from a category/replenishment analyst to a certified engagement manager and delivery leader. From a technical perspective, she holds a breadth of solution architecture level knowledge in both the Blue Yonder and Symphony Retail AI category management solutions, among others. Stinson has received delivery excellence awards from multiple clients including two from global manufacturers for her ability to resolve complex issues within organizations.

“Bill and Rhonda’s commitment to helping clients successfully navigate supply chain planning impacts of the pandemic has been second to none. Their holistic approach of seamlessly connecting retail to broader, upstream supply chain processes has proven invaluable to many of our customers navigating the problems facing today’s planning organizations,” said Derek Cesarz, managing partner at Plantensive. “This award showcases their hard work and commitment to our clients, and we look forward to their continued leadership in developing our award-winning services to support our clients.”
