With one of the highest employee satisfaction rates in the consulting community, MorganFranklin ranks 12th on annual list published by flagship magazine of the consulting profession.

Washington, D.C. – August 21, 2012
For the second time in just five years, MorganFranklin Corporation was recognized by Consulting magazine as one of the “Best Firms to Work For,” ranking 12th on the publication’s prestigious 2012 list. MorganFranklin, a business and technology consulting firm that delivers financial management, performance improvement, and national security solutions to industry and government clients, previously made the publication’s “Best Small Firms to Work For” list in 2008, and has nearly doubled in size from just over 200 consultants in 2008 to 400 billable consultants in 2012. The survey results were based on employee satisfaction rates, and MorganFranklin ranked highest in the categories of work-life balance and culture.

“MorganFranklin is honored to be recognized by Consulting magazine as one of the ‘Best Firms to Work For,’ and we are humbled to have been awarded this distinction based solely on employee feedback,” said Patrick Leonard, Managing Director and Global Enterprise Accounts Leader in MorganFranklin’s Financial Management and Performance Improvement practice. “This recognition has a tremendous impact across MorganFranklin and matches the enthusiasm that we see in our employees. We are honored to have one of the highest employee satisfaction rates in the consulting community, and the award is validation that the efforts and programs supported by firm leadership are having a real impact on making MorganFranklin a great place to work.”

Consulting magazine’s annual “Best Firms to Work For” list ranks consulting firms based on employee satisfaction rates in the areas of client engagement, firm culture, firm leadership, career development, work-life balance, and compensation and benefits. The results were based on an exclusive online survey conducted by Consulting magazine in the summer of 2012. The survey was completed by nearly 13,000 consultants from more than 400 firms, operating across 32 project or practice areas and serving clients in all major industries. The final rankings were announced in the August 2012 issue of Consulting magazine, which was published on Aug. 17.

MorganFranklin attributed its ranking to long-term commitments to employee engagement and professional development training, as well as flexible work arrangements, market-leading benefits, real-time rewards and recognition programs, and community involvement. Over the past 12 months, the company successfully launched an MBA Recruiting Program to attract recent MBA graduates by teaming them with experienced, seasoned advisors. The firm also re-engineered its mentor program and launched a “future leaders” program, which engages junior staff in key activities by promoting long-term leadership, management development, and input on strategic goals. Headquartered in McLean, Va., and with offices in Chicago and London, the company’s top priorities for 2013 include continuing to expand into new markets and geographies to better serve clients’ needs.

MorganFranklin joined other notable winners including Bain & Company, which claimed the top spot for the 10th straight year, as well as Stroud Consulting, which topped the “Best Small Firms to Work For” list for the third consecutive year.

“The two words that best describe the morale at MorganFranklin are energetic and invested,” Leonard said, citing the company’s commitment to listening to and involving employees in continuous improvement initiatives. “Our employees are genuinely energized by the work they do and the clients they serve, and they are invested in our success and our clients’ successes. Without high morale and teamwork, we would not be where we are today.”
