Alliance for Workplace Excellence names MorganFranklin Consulting among 55 winners of 2014 awards recognizing the Washington, D.C., area’s best places to work based on exemplary commitment to overall workplace quality.

For the seventh consecutive year, MorganFranklin Consulting has been awarded the Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval by the Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE), a nonprofit organization that recognizes employers for demonstrating an outstanding commitment to overall workplace quality through communication, diversity, employee growth, work-life balance, and more. MorganFranklin, an execution-focused business consulting firm and professional advisor based in McLean, Va., and London, has been a winner of the annual Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval since 2008.

2014 marks the AWE’s 15th year recognizing excellence in the workplace through the Workplace Excellence Seal of Approval, Health & Wellness Seal of Approval, EcoLeadership Award, and Diversity Champion Award. In total, the 66 award-winning companies represent approximately 1 million employees from organizations of all sizes and in all sectors across the United States.

The winners will be honored at the AWE’s Annual Awards Luncheon and panel discussion on May 20 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. Approximately 400 business executives from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., will be in attendance to learn about signature practices in “Equality and Empowerment in a Diverse Workforce.” Maureen Gormley, Chief Operating Officer at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center, will deliver the keynote address, and award-winning journalist Leon Harris from ABC7/WJLA-TV will serve as emcee.
