Experienced accounting professional and financial services executive joins D.C.-area consulting firm with vision to drive long-term growth and client service.

MorganFranklin Consulting, a leading business consulting and technology solutions company based in McLean, Va., and London, announced today that C.E. Andrews has been appointed the firm’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 13, 2013. Andrews succeeds Robert Morgan, who has served as CEO since the company’s inception in 1998. Morgan and his fellow co-founders Ron Morgan and Rob Franklin will remain active in the company as directors and advisors.

Andrews most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of RSM McGladrey, Inc. from June 2009 to March 2012, where he further built the firm’s brand, talent, and share in the middle market and continued its profitable growth while under the ownership of H&R Block, Inc. In his new role, Andrews will lead all operations of MorganFranklin Consulting and will play a critical role in planning and executing the firm’s growth strategy and vision.

From 2003 to 2008, Andrews served in various positions at SLM Corporation (Sallie Mae), including President, CEO, Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Vice President, among others. From 1974 to 2003, he served with the public accounting firm Arthur Andersen LLP, managing all lines of business including audit, tax, and consulting. Andrews served as Global Managing Partner for the Worldwide Audit and Business Advisory Practice/Managing Partner of Assurance and Business Advisory from 2002 to 2003, and was Managing Partner for the firm’s mid-Atlantic region. During his 29-year career at Arthur Andersen, Andrews served as Partner from 1984 to February 2003 and held positions of increasing responsibility, including key leadership roles in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., office, Mid-Atlantic Market Circle, Southeast Region, U.S. National Practice, and Arthur Andersen Global.
