Michael Fitzgerald, who joined MorganFranklin Consulting in late 2018, has been promoted to managing director with responsibility over service development and delivery functions within the company’s aerospace and defense practice.

He previously served as a senior manager at Deloitte and provided assurance, audit and advisory services to government contracting firms across the A&D sector, MorganFranklin said Tuesday.

Fitzgerald also held an advisory manager role at Argy, Wiltse & Robinson and a senior associate position at Deloitte & Touche earlier in his career.

In the same announcement, MorganFranklin announced the promotion of Andre Prince, Omar Hawa, Hudson Shelby and Jordan Scheiderer to managing director posts.

“We are thrilled to promote five of our own as we expand our leadership team to match our growth trajectory through depth of capability, geographic reach, and industry specialization,” said Chris Mann, managing partner at MorganFranklin.

Prince leads the company’s private equity services practice while Hawa oversees the delivery of transaction-related services to address clients’ challenges in business, finance and accounting matters.

Shelby oversees MorganFranklin’s Raleigh-Durham office in North Carolina while Scheiderer manages areas such as risk advisory, technical accounting and process optimization.
