Chris Clapp helps private equity and venture capital-backed companies mature and optimize the finance and accounting function and execute strategic transactions including IPO and M&A. He has extensive experience helping companies to establish and optimize the reporting function, navigating complex external audits and regulatory compliance issues, as well as leveraging technology to create repeatable and efficient processes. At MorganFranklin, Chris leads the firm’s Northeast activities and has led a number of successful IPOs and M&A transactions through where he worked closely with the management team, sponsor, and other key stakeholders.
Prior to joining MorganFranklin, Chris worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the firm’s Transaction Services practice. He is a licensed CPA and holds a M.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Accounting from James Madison University.
