MorganFranklin Names Three New Vice Presidents

Herndon, Virginia — September 19, 2005
MorganFranklin Corp. recently appointed three people to the position of Vice President in both the company's Management Consulting and Advisory Groups.

Caroline Leies joins the company's Management Consulting Group with responsibility for improving client strategy and operations through analysis and process-based improvement efforts. Before joining MorganFranklin, she served as Director of the Business Process Solutions Group at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, focusing on initiatives to optimize operational efficiencies and streamline processes. Prior to Wyeth, Ms. Leies was a Principal Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Information, Communication and Entertainment Practice.

Yang Shim also joins the Management Consulting Group, where he will focus on improving client technology performance through solution architecture, implementation and operations-based improvement efforts. Mr. Shim had been serving as a consultant to the company before assuming his new position. Prior to that, he was a Practice Lead in the Communications and CRM sector at IBM Business Consulting Services. Mr. Shim is also a principal in The Shim Group LLC, a Fairfax , VA based residential and commercial brokerage, focusing on the VA, MD and DC real estate market.

Ed Applegate has joined MorganFranklin in the Risk Management Division of the company's Auditing Group, where he will lead the Internal Audit Outsourcing, Sarbanes Oxley and IT Audit Services. In addition, he will be responsible for business development within the division. Prior to joining MorganFranklin, he spent 17 years with Ernst & Young as Senior Manager in that firm's Assurance and Advisory Business Services.
