MorganFranklin Corp. Provides Support to Presidential Inaugural Committee and G8 Summit Planning Organization

Herndon, VA — February 10, 2005
Recently, MorganFranklin Corporation's Technology division (MFCT) provided the main source of IT and data support to the 2005 Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC). MFCT planned, engineered, and maintained an IT infrastructure for both voice and data, in addition to providing 24/7 help desk support and network services to over 900 employees. MFCT established a complete network of voice, data and computers in a one week period and maintained it for nearly six months without interruption. In January, MFCT also established a critical network and IT infrastructure for Ticketmaster® to support the distribution and sale of all Inaugural event tickets and to provide, validate, and distribute all Press credentials. The contract will be supported until March, 2005.

MorganFranklin Corp's PIC responsibilities were a direct result of the technical support provided by MorganFranklin Corp. (MFC) to the 2004 G8 Summit, hosted by President George W. Bush last June. MorganFranklin designed and implemented the network infrastructure, cabling, desktop computers, faxes and printers for the St. Simons Island, GA staff offices as well as for the G8 Leaders and their delegations. MorganFranklin also sourced the network infrastructure for the International Media Center at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center in addition to the Media Sub-Center located on Sea Island, GA, providing uninterrupted service for over 1,000 members of the media.
