Yang Shim has a proven track record of managing successful organizational, process, and system implementation projects in the telecommunications industry.
As a managing consultant with IBM Business Consulting Services from 2002 to 2004, Shim was engaged by IBM BCS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Service Line and Information, Communications, and Entertainment (ICE) practice. His roles included thought leadership, senior client management, strategic planning, technical and business advisory work and IT applications architecture.
Shim has also served as a managing consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers/PwC Consulting and Price Waterhouse in Falls Church, Va.
After earning a B.S. in commerce from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce, Shim completed an MBA with a concentration in general management at the Duke University Fuqua Business School.
He is a principal in The Shim Group LLC in Fairfax, Va., a real estate brokerage and investment firm.
