Edward Applegate is Managing Director of Advisory Risk Management Services, which includes the areas of Internal Audit Outsourcing, IT Audit and Sarbanes Oxley Compliance. He also has also implemented OMB A-123 Compliance for several federal agencies.

From 2001 to 2005, Ed worked as the Sarbanes-Oxley specialist and IT audit integration leader in the Technology and Security Risk Services practice at Ernst & Young. He gained 17 years of public accounting, auditing and business advisory experience while with E&Y. From 1996 to 2001, he served in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneurial Services practice in Dallas. He accrued significant expertise in complex public financial transactions, SEC reporting and financial accounting standards.

Ed has gained international and multinational corporate experience over the course of his career. He spent two years in Sydney, Australia, where he worked with Australian public companies.  

Ed is a CPA and holds a B.S. in accounting from Pennsylvania State University, where he won the PICPA Award for Excellence in Accounting Studies and served as president of the student-faculty honor society.
