Tom Roland serves as Managing Director at MorganFranklin Consulting and is responsible for service delivery and engagement performance, as well as developing delivery methodologies to meet the needs and requirements of clients. By combining broad capabilities that blend financial management and performance improvement solutions, Tom supports large enterprise clients and complex global engagements. For three years, he served as the Market Leader at MorganFranklin Consulting's London office, establishing the firm's EMEA headquarters to support European clients and U.S. customers with global operations.
With more than 14 years of professional experience, Tom has core expertise in legal entity management (LEM) and technical accounting and external reporting, as well as financial accounting, technical accounting research, and operational and financial process design and improvement. More specifically, Tom has significant expertise in revenue recognition and the related management reporting and operational challenges associated with complex customer contracts or large-scale programs across a variety of industries including energy, government contracting and services, software, and telecommunications. He also possesses extensive knowledge of legal entity structure simplifications, setup and execution of international trading models, and jurisdictional compliance matters.

Throughout his career, Tom has worked with a number of large organizations with substantial operations across the globe. Prior to joining MorganFranklin, Tom served as a senior analyst and project manager at Concert Communications. Previously, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the firm's assurance and advisory practice. Tom received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, and he is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Virginia.
